I recently gave a talk about the Deep State. It is real! Although many of us have wondered about the strange policies coming from Washington for a very long time, we have mostly shrugged it off as politics. But what I found was a concerted effort by a few in government and business to run America the way “they” think it should be run. From the economy to foreign policy, things are done that absolutely defy the will of the people, break laws, and supplant the constitution. But who are “they” that perpetrate this arbitrary rule over America? We often hear the terms elite, establishment,  bureaucracy or swamp, to describe an unnamed, unknown force in Washington that does these things, never really knowing what or who those people are by name. But there are faces and names behind those vague descriptions of the entities that make up a Deep State within our government and society.

When those of us that understand the Deep State speak of it, we look at it as a bad, and maybe even an evil thing. But is it? Can laws sometime get in the way of doing things that need to be done? Are principles too hard to uphold, when other countries use those principles against us? Do ends justify means? Of course these are rhetorical and hard questions, but I would submit, they are questions asked and answered everyday in Washington and New York.

To understand the deep state, you first must understand the difference between Nationalism and Globalism. First, nationalism is an easy concept, but let me briefly explain it. From the early Greeks, humans figured out that the best way to live with each other is to stake out an area, create rules, create commerce, and live by a certain moral framework found in anyone of several religions. The Greeks called it a “city-state”. More modern times call it a “nation-state”. But the parameters and idea is the same. For 26 centuries the nation-state, has been the way civilization has evolved. Each citizen or inhabitant of the nation-state, held some identity with that state, a certain loyalty. Patriotism if you will. All members of the nation state had commonality in language, customs, rules, and terrain. They became protective of all those things. Nation-states chose leaders or leaders chose themselves, to protect the people, the property, the land and everything within its borders. However, as is human nature, some nation states wanted what another nation state had….a resource, their wealth, or a location. Sometimes this led to war. For most of those 26 centuries, war has been the flaw in Nationalism. The more nationalistic the world became the more and bigger wars that occurred.

Sometime after WWII, (1954) some rich and powerful people came together to see if they could solve this dilemma created by nationalism. WWII had devastated the planet. 70 million people were killed. Millions and millions more were hurt….millions displaced and homeless. More property was destroyed than existed. Fortunes were lost, resources were squandered, and starvation was everywhere. It was thought by these men that nationalism was at the root of the problem. As countries became more populated, they became more industrialized. They needed more of everything to sustain their populations and their economies.  These folks concluded that to stop the cycle of war, the nation-state or national interests must be replaced with global interests. At the time it was referred to as Atlanticism, and promoted as a “better understanding” of US-European relationships. This group of people was called the Bilderberg Group, as its first meeting, in 1954, was held in the Bilderberg Hotel, in the Netherlands. It continues to exist today, with the continuous participation of the CIA, since the beginning, and prominent corporate leaders such as Jeff Bezos of Amazon and Bill Gates of Microsoft, and plenty of other political and government elites such as Hillary Clinton, Tim Geithner, Henry Kissinger, Condolisa Rice, and Colin Powell. The hallmark of these members,  is the extreme secrecy of the gatherings. The shear mention of the Bilderberg Group has always been synonomous with conspiracy, but I am convinced that this large group of elites believes they are saving the world, with an ends justifies the means strategy.

National governments would  be replaced with global governance, commerce could exist world-wide, and resources could be shared by all, war could be a thing of the past….at least war on the scale of WWI and WWII. Thus, these few powerful people, fathered globalism.  It started harmlessly enough. Right after WWII, the United Nations was created. Finally an organization that could be the model for global governance. A body made up of all the nation-states of the world, that could come together to govern the planet.  But it was soon discovered that few countries were willing to give up their sovereignty…..their nation-state status, or their ability to control their own state.  Nationalism wasn’t going away anytime soon. So a new course was set. a long term solution to eventually arrive at the needed solution. Three things would have to be subverted within nations to achieve the required goals!

First, the institutional family had to be changed. Family structure is the fundamental building block of a society. It is structured in such a way that the father has the responsibility of providing for the rest of the family. To do this he needs to work. He needs a job, something to do that exchanges his labor for the things he needs. The mother’s traditional role was to have and nurture children. To populate the society. Needing a job, required resources, industry, a growing economy. A growing population required more of everything, and eventually, more jobs. The globalists believed these two fundamental functions of the family, is what leads to nationalism and war. If the population could be controlled, the need for jobs would be lessened. If the need for jobs was lessened, the demand for resources would decline, and expansionist desire would diminish.

Next, there must be a concerted effort to end or diminish the influence religion has over the culture. They recognize that a belief in God, only strengthens the values that build families. Religion is where we learn what our common values are. But religion and faith in God do something else……it teaches us to be self-reliant, and trust only in God. Not only that, but because religious beliefs can be so strong, opposing religions themselves, can be a source for war.  The globalists believe that faith must be in the state. The values that family and religion heap upon the citizens of a nation-state must be replaced with reliance and dependence on the state.

Finally, if control over the most powerful nation-states can be achieved by eliminating national governance and them with global governance, then the mission will be complete. So first, degrade and destroy the family, next discredit, marginalize, and destroy religion. Finally, create a dependence on the state, while subverting that state to conform with a global agenda.

So far, the strategy of the globalists is working, at least in the developed world. Europe’s population is declining and the birth rate of its citizens is far below where it needs to be to maintain the culture. In America, the birth rate is barely sustaining the population. And even in China, the population is controlled by force of law. Religion in the developed world is under assault. Although in Europe many claim to be Christian, it no longer acts like it. In my visit to Europe in 2005, I went on a tour of the famous churches in Denmark, Norway, and Sweden. Even on Sunday, the churches were empty.  The young have been led away from faith by the education system and the culture of tolerance and multi-culturalism. In America, Christianity has been attacked on many fronts. Universities, consumerism, abortion activism, and the government. Faith and religion has been systematically removed from the public square.  All over the world Islam is killing and attacking all other faiths and making it impossible for any of them to flourish. But Islam is not replacing those religions with merely another faith, but with an extreme ideology of conformance  or death.  You have to ask yourself are these things all simply happening at the same time, just circumstance? The natural order of things? Or are they being orchestrated by a globalist agenda. The more the people suffer, the more likely they are to turn to the state for solutions. But those solutions are no where to be found. The leaders, even ours, before Trump, are turning to global solutions. Nation-states  already turn to the United Nations security council before they take any action. They seek UN resolutions to bring other nation-states into compliance with global standards.  So if this is being orchestrated….who is behind it?

The Deep State is bigger than just a few politicians and bureacrats. It is fostered mainly by powerful, wealthy, multi-national corporations and financial institutions. Companies like Dow, Coke-Cola, Morgan Stanley, Chase, Goldman Sachs, Boeing, GE, Exxon, and many others. These businesses have huge investments in countries all over the world. They would not risk billions of dollars, without having some control over world affairs. These powerful special interests are the ones that provide the money that controls the politicians in the Deep State.

In my exhaustive study of the Clinton Foundation, I found links to several foundations that seem to be clearing houses for these funds. The Radcliffe Foundation in Canada, The Hellenic Initiative, The McCain Institute, The Cowen Group, Open Society, and The Rockefeller Foundation are but a few of these clouded funding sources. At first I thought it was a simple pay for play scheme created by greedy and corrupt individuals. But its more than that. Oh sure, there may be a lot of corruption, but much of what is being done is to shape the world and advance a global agenda. I found strong ties between these foundations and the intelligence community. The money passes from the corporations, to the foundations, to consulting companies, then to the CIA and private, covert paramilitary groups. What the money is used for, encompasses a wide variety of activity, all organized by the Deep State. Things like assassinations, currency manipulation, union bashing, coups, funding of terrorists, and overthrows of governments. All to maintain peace and keep commerce flowing, so investments are not put at risk. Like I said at the beginning…..the natural reaction is to think this is a bad thing and evil. It certainly is unlawful, but yet, is it needed?

Up to this point in the story, its all conjecture based on my research, but I do have examples that will help to put meat on the bones. As I go through these examples and profiles, try to remember the names, as they will come up in other places.

John Ashcroft. I’m not going to relay his entire life, but just the activities that lead up to his involvement in the deep state. You can read about Mr. Ashcroft here:

I suppose what Ashcroft does for a living is legal, but I just can’t recall where in the constitution the federal government was given the power to create private armies, then use those armies to perform military tasks for that government. And all while the American people have no idea what or why they are doing what they are doing. We are just paying for it.

Mr. Ashcroft is in the mercenary business. He employs thousands of ex-military, ex-law enforcement, and general tough guys to operate clandestine operations in foreign lands. In turn Mr. Ashcroft’s business, Constellis lands huge contracts from our government to do things that few actually know what they are. Here are just two headlines pulled from financial publications:

“Triple Canopy Wins $47.8M Federal Protective Services Contract”

“Constellis Awarded $975 Million Department of Defense (DoD) Counter Narcotics and Global Threats (CN & GT) Contract”

Since you probably never heard of Constellis, you should know they were formerly known as Alchemi. Never heard of Alchemi? It was formerly known as Xe Services. What? Never heard of them either? Well then, what about Black Water? Yes, Constellis started out as Black Water. Black Water had developed such a bad reputation in Iraq that I suppose it had to change its name. Remember these private mercenaries aren’t necessarily bound by military rules. But Constellis is much larger now. Even with all the scandals created by these “contractors” they are growing. Over the last 5 years, Constellis has been busy buying up all companies that deal in private security, computer hacking, intelligence, and war fair. Triple Canopy, Olive Group, Edinburgh International, Strategic Social, Apollo Group, and the most recent, the Centerra Group have all been added to Constellis’ stable. As long as there’s money, our deep state government can project its plans anywhere in the world by using these private companies, without getting permission from congress or the president. Secrecy is their main selling point.

So how does John Ashcroft, a CEO of a private company connect to such a conspiratorial entity as the Deep State? In 2000, Mr. Ashcroft became Attorney General under GW Bush. Right after his appointment and confirmation, 911 happened. Shortly after that we got the Patriot Act, which legalized all forms of warrantless surveillance. Something we are learning much more about….17 years later.

But let’s move on, shall we?

Jim Comey. We all know who Jim Comey is. The now former FBI director, Comey has been part of the deep state for a long time. He has been one of those players that has been used to cover up crimes and make criminal acts go away. The deep state not only needs guys like Ashcroft to carry out missions, but it needs guys like Comey to keep it all secret.

Comey started his journey through the deep state prosecuting the Whitewater Investigation against Bill and Hillary Clinton. If I recall, no indictments or prosecutions ever occurred in that scandal. I say that with tongue in cheek, because no indictments or prosecutions ever take place with anyone connected to the deep state. It cannot be exposed, so punishing anyone using our constitution or statutes would risk exposure.  Comey became a Federal Prosecutor of the Southern New York District under GW Bush. Then, quickly became Deputy Attorney General a year later. He was placed in charge of the investigation into the controversial pardon of Marc Rich, ordered by Bill Clinton on his last day in office.  The pardon was instigated by then Deputy Attorney General, Eric Holder. Oddly enough, nothing untold came of these investigations. Imagine that! You can read more about this in my post “Into The Weeds 10” here. Marc Rich is an important link in understanding how the deep state functions. I will speak more about him in part 2 of this story.

Comey was soon moved to FBI Director under Obama, providing further evidence of his importance to the deep state, and the need for someone to cover up its activities. As FBI Director he had all sorts of responsibilities to bring to justice wrong doers in the government…..investigations were conducted over and over, with no one ever being indicted or convicted of anything that would send them to jail. Why? As I said before, to keep the deep state from being exposed. This has been Comey’s role for a long time.

George H. W. Bush.  Many Americans couldn’t tell you what George Bush did before he was our 41st president. Well, he was the head of the CIA, ambassador to the United Nations and ambassador to China, a congressman, and Vice President to Ronald Reagan. No man has been more connected to government or to the deep state. He was actually the man that popularized the term “New World Order”. He has been absolutely active in the use of and maintaining of the deep state, or what might be called the status quo. These people believe sincerely that this status quo must be maintained. Their goal to shape and create a global system has been front and center to US policies for a very long time. When Reagan won the republican nomination in 1979, his opponent was George Bush. Bush was the choice of the deep state and was next in line to become president……but like in 2016…the people spoke and elected Reagan. A deal was struck with Reagan and GHW Bush became the VP. Its one reason we should be leary of Mike Pence. A similar deal was struck with Trump to make Pence the VP. If you recall, Reagan was shot in an assassination attempt. Trump’s election was once again, the people speaking. Hillary Clinton was next in line to become president…the deep state choice.

Bush was the president that instigated, negotiated and crafted, NAFTA. Although it was signed into law by Bill Clinton, all the work to create it was done under George Bush sr. He worked very hard to advance globalist trade policy. He became very good friends with Bill Clinton, and they worked together using the Clinton Foundation Global Initiative as a platform. Billions of dollars moved through that initiative to conduct all sorts of global policy initiatives. I have outlined many of the Clinton Foundations activities in past posts. The intelligence Community.  I could spend hours and days writing about all the past and present deep state players in the intelligence community. Men like James Clapper, John Brennan, Mike Morrell, Mike Rogers, Mike Pompeo, and Michael Hayden, are just a few of the names we see in the news…the heads of security force agencies like the CIA, NSA, National Intelligence and Homeland Security. But there are actually 16 of these agencies in our government, many of which Americans never knew existed. One other thing to note is that the heads of many of these agencies are “lifers”. That is to say, they are long term employees, that work in the bureaucracy. Of the 16 heads, Trump has only appointed three to replace. These people, and the people that work for them, are the “SWAMP”. this is the core of the deep state, and the people working very, very hard to maintain a status quo, and to avoid being exposed.

Each one of these heads has hundreds if not thousands of people working hard to keep America safe. But what does that really mean? They gather intelligence of all kinds: Phone calls, e-mails, financial transactions, purchases, sales, books, articles, tips, people movements, and even the movements of girlfriends, wives and children. They use electronic information, satellites, and lots of human intelligence to do this gathering. Most of it is useful to actually mount a defense against our enemies and terrorists around the globe, but some of it is used to “shape” events to maintain the status quo, prevent world war, to maintain commerce that helps the corporate structure of the world, and to continue to work toward a globally governed world….in other words….to keep the money flowing. The money I’m talking about is in the trillions, and some of it finds its way into the pockets of corrupt and dishonest people like the Clintons, Putin, Soros, Podesta, the DNC, the RNC, Lobbying firms,  lots and lots of consultants, and even criminal enterprises. All of this corruption done in the cause of keeping America safe and maintaining the status quo. It is important to understand how easy it is to have unchecked power, which can abused. As if it isn’t bad enough to work towards a goal counter to American’s own interests, this power can be used to destroy people, ruin industries, and if used politically, destroy opponents, and keep the “wrong people” out of office. Trump is one of those people and a real threat to the entire enterprise.

It is certainly deeper and more audacious than just these 16 heads of agencies. Take one Intelligence Agency, the NSA: Here is an outline of the know divisions within the NSA:

• Information Sharing Services (ISS)Each of these sub-divisions of the NSA, is also headed by its own under secretary or chief, all with many, many employees. But more important is all the folks that have access to intelligence. The collection of information is massive. The 16 heads above and eight members of congress, known as the gang of eight, are the only people who have access to what’s known as the “raw data”. That is, the actual conversations, e-mails, or other communications collected. That is until weeks before Obama left office. He signed an executive order giving access to this raw data to hundreds and hundreds of employees in all these subdivisions of the intelligence community. Previously, in order for raw data to be seen by anybody, a warrant had to be obtained.

Just one quick example. Let’s say there’s a very wealthy businessman in Nigeria. This man is providing valuable information to Mossad, the Israeli intelligence service, on the movement of weapons by Hezbollah. This man tells Mossad he is having a problem with the terrorists of Boko Haram threatening his string of Nigerian hotels. Mossad informs the CIA. The CIA  asks John Ashcroft at Constellis to send over a contingency of “contractors” to Nigeria to assassinate a leader of Boko Haram, in or around Lagos, Nigeria. They are also to send a message that the hotels in question are off limits to Boko Haram. They can do this by killing a bunch, or by paying a lot. Either way they keep the hotels open and safe, and keep the information flowing. All, off the budget, and paid for with some slush fund from a foundation, corporate coffers, or seized assets. This is not a fictional example…..it actually happened!

Recently, we saw the evidence of this deep state using their power politically. This is an absolute abuse of this power. What has occurred in reports of surveillance of the president, unmasking of names, and leaking of classified information has one and only one purpose….to discredit and stop Trump as soon as possible. Its a hard road to ho for the deep state,  because no one can get indicted, convicted, or go to jail, without threatening the power structure itself. Although few, they do have limits to their power

But the big target is oil. Operations are going on everyday in foreign lands, conducted by our intelligence agencies in conjunction with private companies like Constellis, to keep the oil flowing and available, so prices remain stable. If a sovereign government like Iran decides to shut or slow the flow, the intelligence community will find a way to turn it back on all the way. If it requires an entire government to be toppled, or just a leader to be changed, they have the resources to do it.

The Parties. Yes, even our political parties are involved in the deep state. They groom and prepare the next person in line to enter the deep state apparatus. They know in advance, who will be the next choice for senator, president, Attorney General,  any ambassadorship, or any key position that needs to be filled. We call them the establishment. Its not all the politicians,  but it is a significant amount of people. You can look to senators and representatives that have been serving for decades. Most of them know all about this deep state, and work hand in hand to aid in their goals of achieving globalism, under the guise of keeping America safe.

Not long ago, in another blog post I made, I uncovered a powerful woman involved in the parties that connected a few dots. Her name is Julianna Glover. She was an important RNC operative, who owned her own lobbying firm. She was a significant fund raiser for the RNC, and had lots of private parties, hosting many donors to the party. After active involvement in the NeverTrump movement she sold her lobbying firm, left the RNC and went to work for Teneo…..the consulting firm to the Clinton Foundation……all….while being a “senior advisor” to John Ashcroft at The Ashcroft Group, a lobbying firm of Constellis. This from the Ashcroft Group website:

“strategic consulting, security and internal investigative services, and crisis counseling, for countries, corporations and industry and political associations.”

 

 

The hierarchies of the parties are a key part of the deep state. They must ensure that the right people get elected. They run the campaigns, choose the candidates, control the money, and even select the winners. They control the polls, the messages, and to a great extent, they control the media. Without the parties, Americans would choose the “wrong” people to maintain the status quo. This happened with Trump….he was the wrong guy.

In the second part of this blog post, I will detail a special person who was part of the deep state just a few years ago. His story will illustrate for you how the deep state shaped world events, by illegal means to “hurt our enemy” while “keeping America safe”. I hope you’ll stay tuned..
