I had to write this follow-up to what I wrote in February in my post “Who Is Carter Page”. I have no doubt that almost everybody that read that research thought I was crazy claiming a coup was going on and treason was being committed. Still, today, few pundits have analyzed the true nature of what is and has been going on. I have been studying politics and government for a long time.
I like to think I have a special insight as to how it all works. It hasn’t always been like this but the Intelligence Community (IC) has gained huge power due to its use of technology and laws designed to provide more power, such as the Patriot Act and the FISA Court. But anybody that has a brain knows that great power can be misused and often is. You see, there is no benevolence in Washington….only arrogance! Let me be clear, here. This arrogance is not necessarily a corrupt use of that power. It is a self-aggrandizing activity that makes them think that they have all the answers and are charged with keeping America the most powerful country in the world. It has led to a certain status quo and policies that serve that status quo. Any disruption in that status quo is viewed as a threat to our stature in the world and their supremacy as guardians of that supremacy. That said, there is an awful lot of corruption connected to the Intelligence community which provides the tools, policies and money needed to guard their secrets and carry out their clandestine operations.
Now, I want to get to the meat of it. Since I wrote that article in February, I must have read 200 articles and stories explaining the Mueller investigation and how it is being conducted. Lately, we have been reading about a “spy” in the campaign. Pundit after pundit, continuing to miss exactly what was, and is being done. Let me be very specific about what I already know:
In March of 2016, Trump had won the Florida primary and looked like he was on his way to the nomination. The DNC and even many NeverTrump republicans were, by now, setting their sights on Trump to make certain Hillary would win. But something went wrong. I have documented throughout my writings that the Clintons, their foundation and the Intelligence Community are all integrally connected. The Foundation is used to bring in foreign money that can be used by the CIA for “off the books” operations. This relationship was now turned against Trump. In that same month a man named
Stefan Halper entered the campaign….not as an operative….but as part of a plan to ensure Trump’s failure, just in case Hillary couldn’t do it herself. During the spring and early summer of 2016, Halper had several meetings with Carter Page and several other Trump campaign officials. The media have been reporting that Halper was trying to hook up with the campaign, that he was assigned to investigate Russian collusion. But let’s be clear, this is NOT what he was doing, rather he was implementing a plan to CREATE evidence of Russian collusion between Russians and Trump. I must make this point perfectly clear…..Halper’s assignment was not to disrupt a campaign, it was actually to create evidence of a crime. Let me restate that in another way, because it’s ultimately the essence between an investigation and treason: We are being told by the Intelligence Community that they believed that Russia had infiltrated the Trump campaign and were trying to help Trump win the presidency, even though there was no evidence at the time or since, that this was occurring. So let’s take a look at just who this Stefan Halper is. He has a long career, going back to the Nixon White House. He served as assistant chief of staff for the Chiefs of staff, Alexander Haig, Donald Rumsfeld, and Dick Cheney, but more important to this story was his involvement in a CIA operation to provide information to the Carter Administration on the Reagan campaign. Let’s understand this so-called “debategate”, as it was dubbed. By all outward appearances he was a republican operative….running an undercover operation against Reagan, for the democrats. Sound familiar? Looking at Halper’s long history and background in government, one cannot miss the connections he has to the Intelligence Community. Before I move on, allow me to ask some obvious questions being asked by conservative media. Why didn’t the IC just inform the Trump campaign that they suspected Russian involvement? We were also told that Russia was responsible for the Hillary and Podesta e-mail hacks and exposure. Why didn’t they investigate the Hillary campaign? And why did it all start as Trump became the nominee? Remember these questions, because the answers will be the defining element of why this wasn’t an investigation into Russian collusion, but an operation to connect Trump to the Russians and turn Americans against him.
Let’s turn to Carter Page.
Every pundit and writer in the media has assumed Carter Page was an innocent campaign operative, being surveilled and investigated as a Russian operative. Every time I hear it, I cringe. Page was not a target, he was working with and for Halper as an operative to create the evidence required to connect the campaign to the Russians. Only the simple-minded and the uninformed can see Page as anything but an intelligence operative. His background couldn’t be more clear……A graduate of Georgetown University in national security studies…..(Georgetown is where they train spooks) Served in the Navy, his last year and half, in Naval intelligence. As if that isn’t enough…he goes from the Navy to an investment banking job in Moscow. Here he meets a lot of Russians, and immediately voices his support of Russia and the Putin regime. He is very outspoken in his views on American foreign policy toward Russia. Wilkipedia even goes so far to say he was “recruited” by Russian spies. However court documents actually show Page was working for the FBI at the time (2013) to catch those spies. Read my piece, linked above, for more information on Carter Page’s background.
In research, timing and timelines are extremely important in understanding the big picture. Page joins the campaign, not before meeting with Halper but after. When you review and analyze Page’s actions while in the campaign, it really looks like he is a Russian operative. It is so transparent, that anyone could see that Page had obvious connections to the Russians and warranted “surveillance and investigation”. Page’s activities start in July, shortly after meeting with Halper. A question I asked in “Who Is Carter Page” was who put Page on the list of possible advisors? I now think I have the answer. It seems that even before Halper got involved another deep state veteran was injected into the Trump campaign.
Richard Burt, a former ambassador to Germany and the chief negotiator for George Bush Sr. during the START treaty negotiations. (Don’t forget Bush Sr. was CIA chief before he was president.) He latched on to the campaign as a foreign policy advisor to Jeff Sessions, and again, had connections inside Russia, in particular, Burt sat on an advisory council to Alfa Bank, Russia’s state owned financial institution. Burt, likely brought Page on board. This is an excerpt from a Politico story:
There were whispers all over Washington that, despite Hicks’s denial, Page was not only still part of the Trump campaign, but its conduit for Russian influence. Was he? One way to answer the question was to figure out how he even got on that list to begin with. One source suggested to me that Richard Burt, former U.S. ambassador to Germany, START treaty negotiator, and longtime lobbyist for Alfa Bank, was the nexus. It was Burt who helped draft Trump’s foreign policy speech in April, and had been advising the Trump campaign, via Senator Jeff Sessions, on foreign policy.
One other tidbit you can glean from that excerpt is Trump’s foreign policy speech he gave in April of 2016. In that speech he said this:
“We should seek common ground based on shared interests. Russia, for instance, has also seen the horror of Islamic terrorism. I believe an easing of tensions and improved relations with Russia – from a position of strength – is possible. Common sense says this cycle of hostility must end. Some say the Russians won’t be reasonable. I intend to find out. If we can’t make a good deal for America, then we will quickly walk from the table.”
Couple this with the off-handed joke he made at the debate with Hillary about her e-mails, and you can see that Trump himself laid the groundwork for what would be the coming onslaught of Russia, Russia, Russia from the left. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/video/2016/jul/27/donald-trump-russia-dnc-email-hack-video
Before I move on to the others, I must make sure you are seeing the picture I am painting: Trump is running for president. He begins to get traction, and is winning. Of all the candidates that are running, Trump is the only one that must not win. As he takes the lead, a plan is hatched by the deep state, status quo, globalists in the government to end Trump’s campaign. They recruit several operatives to plant the evidence to ruin Trump. These operatives are inserted into the campaign. First Burt, then Halper, then Page. All serve a specific purpose…..Burt, to recruit more operatives. Halper, to initiate the sowing of threads of collusion with Russia, and Page to actually create evidence by his overt actions.
Now…….I have to, again, ask you a question. Do you believe that these operatives, with well documented histories and credentials of being connected to the Intelligence community and the deep state, were actually government spies, investigating Russian collusion by the Trump campaign, or actually creating evidence to make the case that Trump was colluding with the Russians? But before you answer, let’s move on to the “others”.
When Halper began to try to “help” the Trump campaign, he contacted a campaign science advisor…..Sam Clovis. He asked in an e-mail if they could meet. They did a few days later. In that meeting, Halper never mentions anything about Russia, only China and his research of that country….being a “professor”. He does, however, mention casually that he met with Carter Page. Clovis wrote:
“This is just my speculation — I have no knowledge,” Clovis told me. “I think [Halper] was using his meeting with me to give him bona fides to talk to George Papadopoulos. He used Carter Page to get to me and he used me to get to George. George was the target. I think George was the target all along.”
What you need to see from these circumstances and accounts is that Page and Papadopolous were very different players in the story. While Papadopolous had no knowledge of who Halper was, Page seemed to know a lot about Halper and recommended him in a tweet:
Page has tweeted a line from an email he says he sent to the campaign on July 16, 2016, regarding Halper. Halper — Page referred to him as the professor — “offered a range of possibilities regarding how he and the University might be able to help,” You can read more about this here: Trump campaign vet: Informant used me to get to Papadopoulos
Then there is the widely spread story of George Papadopolous. On two occasions, once with Halper and once with a man named Josef Mifsud, Papadopolous was asked if he knew of the existence of the 30K Clinton deleted e-mails, and could the campaign use them? Mifsud, another “professor” reportedly working for British intelligence. He also asked Papadopolous if he knew of the Russian hacked Hillary deleted e-mails. Now, any normal liberal would say that this was normal investigative procedures….but was it? Remember timing! Shortly after these meetings, Papadopolous was introduced to Alexander Downer, an Australian diplomat. At a bar, Papadopolous revealed to Downer that he had heard that the Russians had possession of the Hillary e-mails. The FBI has stated publically that this revelation by Papadopolous was what prompted the investigation. If that were the case, why did these deep state operatives plant this seed? If they already knew the Russians had been interfering in the election and the Trump campaign, why is it the FBI says this revelation by Papadopolous was what prompted the investigation? Why were they involved at all, before this revelation? You see, this wasn’t an investigation, this was a set-up of Papadopolous to create the appearance of a needed investigation to eventually spy on the campaign. While all this was going on, Page was creating a trail of crumbs, leading to a connection between the campaign and the Russians. That trail of crumbs was used by Steele, another “former” British spy and Russian expert, to create the infamous Trump Dossier, which surfaces for the first time in August of 2016, a month after Page’s trip to Moscow. I wrote about Pages’s moves in July in my post “Who is Carter Page-Update”:
Shortly after accepting the position, he needs to go to Russia to give a speech, a commencement speech at a school of economics, in July. This is step 1. Going to Russia in the middle of a presidential campaign.
Step 2, is the lengths he went to, to get permission from the campaign to go, which, do to his lack of importance, wouldn’t need permission. He first asks J.D. Gordon, a retired Naval officer heading up foreign policy for the campaign. Gordon tells him it would be a bad idea. He then e-mails Corey Lewandowski and Hope Hicks, the number one and two people at the campaign. Neither person knows who he is. Hicks never responds, Lewandowski says he can do what he wants, but not to represent the campaign. What you need to see, is the trail he is creating….a trail to Russia. He has to link the trip with formal permission.
The content of the speech is step 3. Remember, this is a commencement speech. But the speech is very critical of past US foreign policy, implying that Trump would change it. It focuses on his hope that a closer relationship between the two nations might be possible with Trump in the White House. From the speech: “Washington and other Western capitals have impeded potential progress through their often hypocritical focus on ideas such as democratization, inequality, corruption, and regime change,” Page also suggested the United States should ease economic sanctions imposed on Russia following its 2014 incursion into Ukraine and Crimea. Sanction removal would be a common thread in the charges by critics of Russian collusion by Trump. The point here is that he is in Moscow speaking with authority about foreign policy while being on the Trump campaign, but yet he has no authority or authorization to do so. How does that look?
Next…step 4….He is interviewed by the Russian news agency Novosti, where he will not answer what his plans are in Moscow and would only say that he will “meet with several business leaders and academics, before he leaves on Tuesday”. Implying importance, yet being seemingly secretive. But later interviews with Russian officials, they responded that they did not know Mr. Page and were unaware of any meetings that took place. So the impression was left that Page met with “high ranking” Russian officials and it was reported that way.
And finally, step 5…upon his return he sends an e-mail to the campaign: “I’ll send you guys a readout soon regarding some incredible insights and outreach I received from a few Russian legislators and senior members of the presidential administration here,” As if he has some vital information from people in Russia. But when interviewed by the House Intelligence Committee, he said it came from the TV he watched while in Moscow. A clearly ridiculous answer all to make it look like he is covering up something. All the things I have outlined here are found in the Trump dossier, orchestrated to create proof that a tie between Trump and the Russians existed. The way to prove it is to find out if he was working for the FBI as he did in 2013.
One last thing to see here: The news media, even FOX, is telling us that these people were not spying on Trump or his campaign, but on Russia. The IC was investigating Russian influence on the election. What was the predicate for believing that? What prompted that investigation? Didn’t the Russians hack the DNC servers, the Podesta e-mails, and the Hillary private server? Why wouldn’t they be looking for Russian influence there? It just doesn’t add up. The only thing that makes sense is that this was a concerted effort to tie Trump to the Russians, spy on his campaign, conduct electronic surveillance, and plant evidence to have him removed from office. The key to this whole story is Carter Page. He is a spook living in plain sight. If someone can ascertain if Page works for the IC…then we have the answer to all the questions. But I’m afraid they don’t want us to have the answers.
To quote from the movie “Patriot Games”: The president is caught by loyal patriotic national security analyst, Jack Ryan, conducting illegal military operations in Columbia where a dozen US Marines are killed by a drug cartel. When Ryan confronts him…..he says: “Jack, the last thing the country needs is another scandal that goes all the way to the top. Oh…it will come out….a few will take the fall, but that’s where it will stop. A few slaps on the wrists. I’ll do the Potomac Two Step and that will be the end of it.” Jack promptly says: “Mr. President….I don’t dance” Unfortunately, we don’t have anybody close to Jack Ryan in the government. So what this fictional president said, will be reality. Finally, if the dems win the House in 2018, this will all end quietly. Just one more reason why you must vote for the republican in November. This is the only way the pressure can be maintained on this corrupt and valueless Intelligence Community. If something doesn’t change, this over reach and abuse of power will only continue and get worse.
